It was hard to pick just 10 outfits, but here are my new and old favorite outfits this fall!
What do you do when they are all your favorites?
“You know you’re my favorite,” my mom would giggle as she whispered it. Of course I was. But I also knew she said that to all 6 of my brothers and sister. We all knew it, and we all pretended that we were the REAL favorite.
I could never pick one of my kids as my favorite either, and now that I have such a well-curated capsule wardrobe full of only my favorite things, I have a hard time picking favorites from my closet or my outfits! They are all my favorites, and all things I enjoy wearing over and over again!
Some of these outfits are new favorites, and some are old favorites, but they are all outfits I wear over and over. Because I take daily outfit pictures, I can go back and see my favorites each season and wear them again this year.
Knowing my signature style means every outfit is a favorite. If you want help figuring out your signature style, take my Classic Style Twist Quiz to get some ideas.
Old favorites
This is an outfit I wear some version of several times a year. I might change the color of the shoes or wear leather pants instead of the leather jacket, but denim, black, leather, and a pop of color is a favorite combination for me.
Remember how I just told you I wear that outfit in other variations? Here is another one. Instead of a leather moto jacket I have leather pants, and I moved the red to my earrings and lips.
The majority of my wardrobe is basics and foundational pieces that I love to mix and match. These burgundy cords are a favorite all fall and winter, and paired with a basic navy sweater and brown leather? Perfection. I wore this outfit for the first time last fall, and it was an instant favorite.
I love orange, and paired with leopard it’s even better. Getting to wear this outfit again this fall was an easy win.
stripes, my signature color turquoise and brown leather? All the yesses. I loved wearing this last winter and fall, and it was an easy win to pull out this year as well.
This purple sweater inspired the Society members to request purple for the Winter Guide. Wish granted! I found the perfect purple. This is a fall/spring weight sweater, and I can’t wait to wear this old favorite outfit in a new way this winter.
New favorites
Anything I can wear year-round is a winner in my book, and this leopard skirt is one of them. I got it last winter, and have styled it differently each season. Here is one of the ways I wore it this fall, and I can’t wait to wear it again.
I was all about leopard and burgundy this season, and this combination felt so perfect. I shop my closet for most of the Guide outfits, but this leopard blouse, the burgundy duster and burgundy flats were so special I couldn’t pass them up.
Are you noticing repeats of favorite pieces and combinations? Black, leopard, and red are an easy and chic combination.
I love a column of navy, black, or navy AND black. This black on navy leopard pattern sweater was an immediate favorite, adn the combination was equal parts soothing and flattering.
