When I found out I was homozygous for the MTHFR gene mutation c677t, it was like a lightbulb. It explained so many of my health problems, but one of the biggest was depression. After a year of treatment, diet changes, and supplements, I feel so much better! The depression is gone, and a whole lot of other issues are much better. Think I’m an anomoly? I’m not. MTHFR is much more common than most people realize, and it could be why or someone know you are suffering from depression, too.

Our lives are so hectic that getting a healthy, delicious dinner on the table can feel impossible at the end of an already harried day. I have found 20 quick, easy, healthy meal starters at Costco that I keep on hand for the nights when the only other options seem to be fast food or fasting. Most of them are gluten-free, dairy-free, and Paleo. Some of them are also Whole30 compliant.I can get a quick and easy meal on the table in 15 minutes with most of them, and that saves us all from a life of drive-thru purgatory.

It can be hard work to have so much fun, and after about a week of working your way through the list of 100 fun things to do (whose idea was that anyway?), you might be banging on the doors of the school begging for summer classes. I have the secret to staying sane during summer break so it can be a break in between all that fun.
