This week the spring weather played peek-a-boo, and we had everything from sun to rain to snow. All the trees are starting to blossom, my hyacinths are up, and the parade of spring flowers begins. I love this time of year. My inner gardener gets itchy to get outside. It is not uncommon to see me out in the cold wind and rain digging holes and planting.
Check out my favorite photo bomber! We were out running errands this day. The weather was gorgeous, and I had fun with my little sidekick. It went from sunny and 73 to rainy and 37. I’m wearing a sweatshirt that fits me really well so it’s more of a sweater look, jeans, rain boots and rain jacket to fend off the weather. My sidekick and I have been running errands all morning again because we were just about out of food. Oops. We’re back to rainy and cold, so rain boots and rain coat it is. I took my 3 favorite girls (10, barely 7 and almost 4) Easter dress shopping. I finally found a saturated navy pencil skirt, and it’s knit and structured and stretchy and comfortable at TJMAXX, but I also found it in more colors at Stein Mart. Online they have black and an orangey red here. The fresh indigo color is a dusty blue (I went to Stein Mart to see the colors in person). I also LOVE these snake skin navy heels I got on my trip to Palm Springs. I painted these earrings this morning. Today I crave color. The sun is shining and it feels like spring. I just love pink and red together.
