Here’s what I wore this week! Half at home in the snowy, freezing cold, and half in Miami! It was so nice to get a break from sweaters and boots.
My friend sent me this leather cuff bracelet and I used it to make a scarf edgier and cut down on movement. Swishy scarves make me crazy. It has been dumping snow here and it’s not going to stop soon. Scarf J. Crew (similar here), Sweater Croft and Barrow (similar here), jeans Express (similar here), boots Sperry for J. Crew, leather cuffs gift (similar here, here and here).
This is my third outfit of the morning. I started out with a white sweater with black stripes. Then I changed to this black sweater and red pants. My husband walked in and started laughing and said, “I knew that sweater wasn’t going to make it out of this room, and neither will those pants. I knew you’d change into black.” Then I couldn’t stand the red pants. Combined with the boots I felt like Santa Claus. And I just didn’t want to wear them. I feel much better in this. Sweater and boots J. Crew, jeans Express, bracelet Paparazzi (similar here, here and here).
I’m ignoring the fact that there is snow everywhere bc I’m tired of it, and today I don’t have to actually walk in it. All of my errands are just driving kids around, so I can wear flats if I want to. Scarf Banana Republic, sweater Cable & Gauge (similar here), pants Banana Republic, flats Isola (similar here, here and I love these!!) .
It’s so cold and has been snowing off and on all day, and yet I’m wearing this navy and pink spring-ish ensemble because when I land in Miami tonight it will be 80 glorious degrees. I decided to go halfway with the clothing choice for my flight. Sweater and jeans Express, shoes Sperry (that I dyed, but similar here and here).
One day in Miami and it’s like the snow never happened. The weather is perfect. We did a walking food tour of Little Havana, a Cirque du Soleil show, and then dinner. We skipped salsa dancing because I succumbed to a food coma. Top JCPENNEY, sweater Banana Republic, jeans Express, sandals Sam Edelman, tote farmers market in Versailles, France (similar here, here and here ).
We went swimming with the dolphins at the Miami Seaquarium, strolled around Wynwood Walls, and on a sunset catamaran cruise. I wore my white jeans for a second day in a row because when the cat is away, the mice can’t rub their sticky, dirty faces and hands on them. This outfit is definitely sea worthy. Waxed cotton utility jacket J. Crew, linen tee Banana Republic, Sperrys (that I dyed, but similar here and here).
This was our last full day in Miami, and it was rainy and chilly. My husband asked me if I wanted to go go the spa or shopping. Priorities, people! We went shopping at this amazing outlet mall that has tons of clearance stores. sweater Banana Republic, tee J. Crew, pants Express, (that I dyed, but similar here and here) Sperry.
